Each day features one video game cover shown blurred, alongside the title masked as blank letter slots. Guesses are typed in, and wrong attempts, up to five, sharpen the artwork and unlock hints that fill in some letters. Past days can be played from an archive, and a sister mode does the same with movie posters.
